There needs to be a ED article about Spokane. Here is what I have in mind so far:

Quote
Spokane is the second largest city between Seattle and Minneapolis. It is one of the sucky cities in the world, but yet the best because Johnny Depp was there of all time for the shooting of a lame movie Benny & Joon. There are hardly any jobs there and nothing to do except looking at the movie locations from the movie, they couldn't afford a zoo so they had to shut it down in 1932 and then they had another one in Spokane Valley but shut that down too because they didn't have the money to take care of the animals. In 1991, a sucky zoo opened in Newport and has been opened ever since.

The World's Fair was held in Spokane in 1974 and were stupid to tear down the exhibits after it ended. They realized their mistake and had to rebuild the IMAX theater and turned the site into a park which is now RiverFront Park. Their amusement park there sucks since it only has a very few rides but it's something the Spokaners like doing since it's the only park they can go to for rides.

Yes I have insulted my favorite city and it's meant to be offensive to all the Spokaners.

I thought this was funny. Taken at the B&J house when I stopped in Spokane. Seeing the sign was an invite for me to walk on her property and take the picture.

it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

An add I saw on MySpace just now- it was animated, but you get the gist.  I wasn't aware that there were career-specific yoga poses.

Two blondes walk back from the beach to find that the car doors are locked and that the keys are still in the ignition. One whips out her cell phone and says, "Here! Call your boyfriend! He has a spare key, and he'll be here in no time at all!"

"He'd better hurry," says the other. "I'd like to get the top up before it starts raining."

Old Man From “Home Alone” Says He Didn’t Know He Was in Movie

http://thehollywoodham.com/wordpress/?p=116

Quote
Local snow shoveler and resident creepy old man, Old Man Marley, was met with a surprise when flipping channels this week. He saw himself on TV in a film unknown to him. Home Alone.

ABC Family kicked off its holiday programming with a showing of Home Alone, the classic Macaulay Culkin film. Marley, a scary old man, had yet to see this uplifting comedy and was shocked to find he had an integral role.

Marley had been oblivious to Home Alone, released in 1990, and its popularity for 18 years.

“I never owned a TV until this year,” Marley admitted. “I had just made enough money from shoveling snow to afford a television set and the first night I turn it on, it’s like I’m looking in a mirror.”

It took Marley nearly a half hour to realize he was not actually looking into a mirror.

“When they showed the reunion I had with my son, I had an inkling something was fishy,” Marley said. The incident in question occurred nearly 19 years ago after a local troublemaker suggested he contact his estranged son.

When questioned about misleading an old man, Home Alone director Chis Columbus did not deny the allegations.

“Yeah, the second unit just started following him around,” Columbus said. “When we realized we could use the footage, we got around having him sign a release form by telling him it was a ’snow shoveling contract.’ That guy loved shoveling snow.”

Since learning of his celebrity status, Marley has given up on his life-long career and has decided to follow his acting aspirations. He’s currently holding out hope that there will be a sequel.

And a few people actually believed it.

Funny, cute. Try to play them both at the same time for great justice.

And then this one. What a cool fucking cat!

And the finale. Cat lovers rejoice!
