I just made the following article on audio mastering. Should hopefully be enough to make most people atleast somewhat knowledgable laugh. Perhaps it was a bit risky to post it while the Forest Fire Week is still going on, but I think this one has significantly greater potential than all my previous ones.

Of course, since modern recordings are so unlistenable, I just play them through the little computer speakers. They have all the resolution the overcompressed, one hundred percent distortion disks need, anyway. I've got a really nice modern tube system to bring out the best in those 'low-fi' tube recorded sessions from the fifties and sixties, though.

I + ya for the effort.
