I did not watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, It started at 10pm and I went to bed around then. I have a lot of things to do on the following day.

Buddha said Buddhism is supposed to be a philosophy and not a religion, so the free Tibet thing is kinda retarded at least from a religious standpoint imo.   It shouldn't be a religion to start with, having organizations with monks and shit.   Buddha didn't want it to be that way, yet the "followers" don't even respect that part of his philosophy.

The thing that I have observed with most major religions, after the founders are gone, it's the followers that shape whatever paths it takes.   ::)
