My last name is unique and I am related to everyone who has it.
My last name isn't really unique, but I'm related to most people in this county who bear it, and it's a county with 1.5 million people.
In whole Sweden there were 14 people with my name the last time I checked, but some spell it differently. My first name is spelt like in English, though I'd guess at least half of the Swedes who bear it spell it differently. In the 70's, when I was born, international names and international spelling was popular. Now they name kids like old geezers and little ladies were named when I was a kid, like Gustav, Tilda, etc.
