I have phone phobia and despise them but am forced  to have several.  Lately my business line has suffered a rash of hang ups two just this morning.  Whats wrong with these people leave a fucking message.

Maybe it's your answering message.. "What the fuck do you want?!  Leave a fucking message!" typically doesn't evoke the kind of response you're looking for.

Some people have a phobia about leaving messages.  If I think I might get sent to voicemail, I tend to decide ahead of time what I'm going to say.

I hate leaving messages, I freeze up, I stutter, I am hard to understand. I always have to rehearse in my head what I am going to say before I leave a message.

I never leave voicemails, if it gets to that stage I typically send a text. Voicemails are a pain in the arse to send and recieve.

I tend to go 'umm' or pause between sentences when I leave messages. I should write down what I want to say on cue cards.

I have a cell phone because people say that I'm hard to get a hold of, I usually don't answer unless its an emergency, otherwise I tell them to leave a message.
