i bought my dyson secondhand five years ago, and it's still going strong (now i've worked out how i buggered it up, and fixed it).

mind you, the amount i use it, it'll probably still be going in the twenty-second century.  :laugh:

Late getting out today, playing "beat the trash trucks".

Todays finds:

2 vacuums, dirt devil vision (works fine), bissel bagless (someone ran over the cord and tried to tape it back together half-assed fashion)
Gateway computer (parts machine most likely), Compaq Presario 5000 (in the process of reloading windows to it now).
