The kitchen at the retirement home is closed today, in anticipation of a big storm that will cause dangerous travel conditions!
I've worked there for 22.5 years and this is the first time we've ever done such a thing! But it's OK,
the residents received today's meals in box-lunch form yesterday, to take home and eat in their apartments.

What did the retired people get in their box lunches?

Lunch was an Italian grinder with some 3-bean salad and a little package of hermit cookies (the ones I made, with extra molasses)! 
Dinner was a container of beef stew, a biscuit, and a donut. There were also little individual packets of juice provided.

Have you been unable to sleep properly? 

My days have been very irregular and different from usual. Seeing too many people, and too many extra things. That does mess with my sleep, but, I'm not sleeping too bad. I'm just drained. On the bright side, come Sunday there is nothing on the agenda, and come Monday this girl should have a day off. And after that life should be a bit more back to "normal" too. It will pass.
