sake, yum yum. actually tastes vile but gets the job done. :green:

Actually, you and I are opposites on this one. I quite like the taste, but I normally abhor the effects of being drunk. (Not so keen on headaches either.   :hahaha: )

It may have worked, though. To jolt me out of the power high and back into a place where - don't have a good word for it yet. We'll see.

what should i dream of?

Your shows, as they could be?

Sake goes well with bread things. There is a specific typed of un- or very lightly - leavened bread, similar to a pretzel stick that makes the sake have soul.

BTW, do you understand the spiritual implications involving sake and its origin?

What about this ride?

I always wanted to go to Disneyland, but after watching that...I fear I may get mesmerised and never want to leave!

Hm. Hard to find on a GF diet, but I had soft rice cakes.

BTW, do you understand the spiritual implications involving sake and its origin?

Didn't then, but I do more now. I'm guessing you're thinking more of Shinto purification and communing with the gods than the modern social/connection ritual?

You know interesting directions to research.

I had a lovely time last week.  You were fabulous- everything I'd hoped, and more.  But how come you never called me back?
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

Leaving
« Reply #1272 on: July 26, 2009, 07:13:23 PM »
So it's become clear to me that I2 isn't the place for me any longer and I need to move on with my life.

I don't really know how to say this well. It's been my home on the internet for three years. Getting my butt out of here has been more like breaking an addiction than just walking away.

It's what the members make it, and I'm in a dwindling minority. My attempts to jolt it out of stability and consistency, and into something more dynamic and energy-building, have started to mainly do harm.

I'll be around sometimes to keep in touch with people, but I've cut off any investment I had in the community as a whole.

I've been building a small community of an entirely different type on LiveJournal: Yumeza. If anyone wants to contact me when I'm not around here, that's where I'll be.
