Not yet, but I haven't really looked. I hang out with people from work at the pub once every couple of weeks, but that's just obligatory networking to make myself appear normal. So far I'm pretty happy with my social life online.

Hopefully, I'll be doing some rather eventful stuff this year, like going hiking or yachting with some new people.

Cool! I went camping last fall, when I was still in the USA, and it was absolutely awesome. Something about the wilderness brings you back to yourself...

Take waterproofs if you plan on doing it in Scotland.  And when I say waterproofs, I mean waterproof jacket, trousers, gaiters, boots, backpack and tent.  Take lots of waterproof plastic bags too, so that your soaked gear won't soak all your other gear when you stick it in your backpack.  Also, take a midge net and repellent.  Something about the wilderness in Scotland makes you wish you were back home.

This day? Actually pretty cool. I got out of work early for a doctor's appointment, so I get to indulge my forum and gaming addictions for a couple more hours than usual.

Why would anyone think that you're mean?

Why would anyone think that you're mean?

Cause I am. How mean, depends on how much I like you.

Peaguy's probably referring to this thread.

As for anyone else, you'd have to find them, drag them out and ask them.

"Okay, hold up here. Why exactly do you want to kill me? Cause all I wanted to do was walk through the damn gate. Long night, huh? Bored with guard duty? Let me see the bowgun, then. Are you good with that thing?"... etc, etc, till he gets close enough that I can reach over, on the pretense of admiring the weapon, and then slip a knife to his throat.

Then he'll open the gate and do whatever the hell I want him to.  >:D

So, looking at that thread, and everything else that I've seen here, I'd assume you
must LIKE everyone. Didn't see anything particularly mean in it. Sorry.

LOL. All depends on your definition of mean, I guess. Some people seemed to think it was.

But yeah - I do like most people on Intensity.

I'd be cool with it, but it does involve me getting enough money and time off work to get to London. (That's where you are, right?) Unless you're planning to be in Glasgow at some point.
