I think if someone used an ignore mod, they would be fully aware that they wouldnt be getting the whole story, or maybe that the person that they are ignoring isnt really contributing anything to the story in the first place, in their opinion of course.

Fair enough. They should certainly recuse themselves from
site issues then.

I don't see why.

But I think the real issue here is that YOU dont want to be ignored.

Do you have a habbit of FORCING yourself onto others?

yes he has, lord phlexor - he's a rapist.

Because it sucks to have the ignorant in control.

  Excellent cheap shot.

To answer it though, it depends. In arenas where I can
make my voice heard, I do. In those in which I have difficulties,
I use other means, such as my dress - usually they must work very
hard to ignore me.

Just think about it, all the people who wont put you on ignore might actually want to listen to you.

What does that matter?

And, this is not just about me. Others would be put on ignore.
I might have done so to ahayes, and not realized what an
injustice was served.

ahayes had absolutely nothing to contribute, other than deliberately annoying spam. how would putting him on ignore be serving an injustice? Mind you, the same could be said of you lately.

I didn't mean not reading his crap.
I meant when you banned him. If everyone
was ignoring, how would they know why he
was getting under your skin.

Incidentally, he's pulling the same with me.
I wish to hell Milla hadn't invited him back.

Go there and see.
I finally took my hopes
for the place, and laid my
grievance out according to
them.

The thing is, in reality, nobody is perfect. So basicly these so called people in control who you wouldnt have a problem with either dont exist or follow a set of guidelines that YOU decide.

Yeah sure, it could be seen as a cheap shot, or it could be seen as an underlying drive of your personality. Either you like it or its getting you in to trouble. No means no, and ignore means Im not listening if you didn't understand no the first time.

Don't you get it, had an ignore mod been installed back then, perhaps he wouldnt have been banned. Maybe useless spammers like him would have givin up said useless spamming if they knew that they werent being heard because of them being ignored by those who would have been annoyed by them in the past.

Lemme guess: another aussie, who thinks it's correct that everyone
should be forced to vote, even if they're completely oblivious to
all politics?

I guess that what one is used to influence one so very much.
Hell, those from the US seem to think it's their fucking duty
to vote, and many feel guilty, though they aren't bothering to
learn about what they're voting on. At least they're usually too
lazy though - except where voting by mail is allowed.

Big difference. I SEE the wrong in
taking an action against someone. On the other hand, blocking out information about political issues, yet still acting informed is completely
unreasonable.

Aha! So you, at least, think that Ahayes was banned for his spamming?
Yet, you don't see that this would be completely in opposition to free
speech here?

If someone goes the the polling booth and they don't understand who to vote for, they can always make a new category. "The Easter Bunny" or "the bloke down the road" or something.

Yeah I'm an aussie, but I don't vote and I dont agree that we are forced to vote, so Im not registered to vote. Means I have to dodge the morons who come to the door around voting time to make sure you are registered. I havent voted for anything in over 15 years.

Well thats the thing isnt it, if someone has something important to say, then why the fuck would they be annoying or try to fuck shit up or whatever.

You know what, I dont know why he was banned, and I dont care. I'm sure according to you that means I shouldnt have a say in anything but that just like your opinion man.
