Lucifer, you should have seen the driver of the car.  She was indeed...strange.

Ren, I'm going to upload a vid of Audrey today.  She's going completely spastic over a piece of white lint on a dark blue towel.  She does this all the time.  She's really autistic-acting.  I'm afraid she's got AS!   :zoinks:

And yes, I know my AS helped me cope with bullying to a certain extent.  But in my case, my AS behaviors were what instigated a lot of the bullying.  I'm not saying I deserved the abuse I received, but I can now understand why certain kids reacted to me the way they did.  :-\

I've never felt sorry for myself, and that's been the biggest advantage I could have in dealing with this.  You can find sympathy in the dictionary between shit and syphilis, my dad used to say!     The only reason I choose to tell people about the PTSD is because in case I act weird or mean around them, I don't want them to think it's because of something they've done or said wrong.  I want them to know that it's my problem I'm having to work on, because I don't want to fuck up any more friendships due to it.  I got tired of people either thinking that I was a horrible person or that they'd done something to offend me.

You make a good point of the other side of AS.  It makes us targets in so many ways.  I went thru most of life feeling I had a bullseye on my ass and a sign that said "KICK ME" on my back.  I didn't deserve what happened in most cases, but, somehow I was always able to get up off the ground and keep moving forward.

What is strongest: your sense of humour, common sense, or sense of smell?

Strongest, meaning most predominant, is probably my sense of humor.  I'm always giggling about something, but no one else gets why I'm so amused.

My common sense isn't that great, but my sense of smell is excellent.  I used to want to be a "nose," one of those people who create perfumes.  You have to have formal chemistry training, though, plus the job rules your entire life.  You have to be so careful about what you eat, drink, and breathe that life is very restricted.  And I wouldn't be good at selling perfumes because of the AS, even though I know tons about them.   :-\

It's fun!  People tend to leave you alone and give you lots of room in public places.  :zoinks:

My response was to work out and cultivate a 'piss off or I'll rip your head off and shit down your neck' appearance for when I didn't want to be bothered.  It works very well and neds are quite respectful towards me, though I think it scares off women.

Yeah, that vibe isn't as scary coming from a female.  Probably more comical than anything.  But an angry guy can be scary.  :-\

What member of I2 would you most like to join me in a threesome with?
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.
