Aren't most "officially" DX'ed as PDD-NOS, then with the unofficial AS or HFA or whatever which is the real DX?
Socialising drains me. I went to a funeral last week of a family member, then the people came back to the house. I had to go to sleep in my room because I couldn't cope with the crowds and small talk.

I'm "officially" dx'd AS.AS is an official dx in the DSM, but I think before the TR version, the AS criteria were a bit on the vague side so many got PDD-NOS.
Maybe some of the psychology students could chime in here, briefly, and straighten us all out.
