If you could meet anyone (including people who are dead) who would you like to meet and why?

there are several:

the dead list

Teddy Roosevelt-President during the last good times

Harry Bridges- Founder of the ILWU, no nonsense man, and a true advocate for the rights of the working man.

Abe Lincoln- I heard that he could debate like a mutha Fucker.

Jim Morrison- do i need to explain that one

Thomas Edison- I mean if he didn't have AS then i don't know if any of us do.

The alive list

Jello Biafra- because he is my kind of insane individual

Eamonn, Peter, Omega, Dunc, and PI-free room and board in europe

Neuroman and shima-free room and board for a back east visit

The person behind all the political puppets- i want to find out if the pendulum is ever going to swing back and in favor of, the common man.

Myself- 30 years from now- i want to ask myself what i should have done differently. ?not that i would take my own advise though, i prefer to learn through trial and error.
or so it would seem.
Misunderstood.

Wait until the era of space colonization, then everything will open up again...?
i shall be long dead.  simply put: we are alive at the worst time in several generations.

Haven't heard of the books but the show was on TV every sunday for about 10 years- haven't watched more than about 5 minutes of it though.

Is it your opinion that (some) ugly chicks fuck better because they work harder?
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

Since you've obviously realised that you have a bit of a cult of personality thing going on on here- as noted by your reluctance to express a public opinion until later on in the discussion of some issues in case you sway the vote- how do you decide which issues you will express an opinion on right from the start??

SOLID!

but the answer is simple.
due to my impulse control issues, do i really have a choice?

i think the secret is realizing when i have selected the wrong issue to back, and learn to back off quietly.

You always have a choice- all it takes is realising you have these impulse control issues and taking time to think about it before putting across your view point.  But the question is does knowing about this cult of personality you seem to have going really give you a responsibility to try to ensure you don't affect site votes or do you just think fuck it and post what you want anyway (even knowing that it may affect the way a vote goes)?

i think that you are seeing things.

anything is possible, i suppose.  but you realize that if what you say is true, then it came as a result of hard work and i like to think a solid measure of consistency.  why should i lose my voice as a result of passed hard work.  i am just as entitled as any other member to have an opinion.

i think the responsibility falls on the individual members to weigh the facts as they were presented to them and make up their own minds. the onus of others decicion making process is not my responsibility.

who has been challoenged more often on this site than anybody else?  who's opinions have been under constant review?  i am certainly not the only one with a hold on the truth.  in fact, quite often i am wrong.
anybody would be ignorant to cast a vote simply based upon my stance.
no cult of personality, just high profile.  and the reason for that is because i am constantly rolling up my sleeves and jumping in.
Misunderstood.

Don't get me wrong I'm not slagging you for that or saying that you haven't earned it- I was just addressing a point that you raised  on the boards and/or in pm's whilst the world council was still active- that you didn't want to express your opinion yet whilst discussions were still in the early stages because you didn't want to influence the way things were going    Do you now feel that the members are able to get on with things now without waiting for your blessing? -something which I remember frustrated you in the early stages-something which I saw as a kind of cult of personality deal.    My original question was based on these past issues and not only my wondering how you decided to get involved right from the start, put also if you felt Intensity has progressed in the past few weeks so that the members are beyond the stage of waiting to see which direction you want to go in before getting on with things.

ok then
i can answer by stating yes.  i think that enough time has passed and people have had the time required to settle in, get a feel for I?.
in the beginning, and it was only natural, that people weren't sure how to act.  especially coming from boards with strict codes of condict.  members were, i felt, looking to me for guidance.  and that was frustrating me, since i just wanted people to have the opportunity to be themselves.  i didn't want clones of myself.

since this board has started i have purposefully beena little more controversial than i prefer.  just to show that its ok.  i have been more shocking, just to prove that its ok.

if someone clearly wants an example of what is acceptable here, simply view the careers of both Nomaken and Peter MacKenzie.  it seems that they made themselves feel comfortable and at home, a long time ago.
Misunderstood.

Is anyone here disturbed that me and nomaken form the social and moral compass of intensity?

can you say that with any certainty?  do you know the social and moral compass of everyone here?  you don't know mine (and i ain't about to blurt it all out here), for a start.
