i must have been away too long. why's he leaving?
I can't really answer for him, but I get the feeling that he thinks of this place with a heavy heart. It may be that he is disappointed in what the site has become, but it might also be that he feels that it is too addictive and that his continued membership here is preventing him from moving forward in his life.
I wish I knew. He has said all this and much more over the past few months.
Honestly, I'm not sure what anyone expects from a web-based site. I can't even begin to tell you why I came here in the depths of my worst depression and stayed as things have gotten so much better for me.
... other than, I have become "involved" with a few of the members.
Again, I don't know what to expect, either, because I have only met one internet acquaintance and he turned out to be not as honest as I had thought at first. I wonder now if everything he ever posted was bullshit. I can honestly say that I have never posted one letter of bullshit to this site, except for a joke or a mistake and I hope to fuck everyone knows when I'm joking, now.
There are others who have gone as well.
