I would like to know the simple facts why everyone hates Alex Plank

That isn't so bad, it's kind of funny, but he should never ever actually consider it, as it's a support site. If I ran a non-support site I would ban people I found annoying.

I don't think it's necessarily what he said that was wrong (apart from the "losing virginity in a sewer" comment (yes, I am bringing it up again, sorry)), more the fact that it seems bitchy and hypocritical for him to be doing that while claiming he's supporting people and helping people and that he's a good role model etc. Plus, it comes across in his posts. It's obvious he doesn't like SG and Jason larsen just by some of his posts on there. That fucks me off a bit when it's a so-called "support site"

If he's going to claim that's what the site is for, he should be supportive of ALL members, not just the ones he personally likes

And the charity thing is about all those supporter donations I think

making out people are helping others with Aspergers, advertising it as "support WrongPlanet awareness!" etc (makes it sound like a charity or something)

Soph, this is the finest example of corporate American culture that I could give you.  All about image over substance, and he's learned how to play the game.  I told him this in the pm I sent him.  He knows that some people see through the bs.  Maybe he's not completely happy with WP himself...but regardless, I think WP is bigger than him now.  He's created this image of himself that he probably couldn't change now, even if he wished to.
