The Germans who your grandmother encountered were practically in their own backyard and were strolling into France.
The English were on enemy soil, fighting hard and most likely shit scared.
The German language is closer to Dutch than English is, AFAIK.

These factors could make a young girl scared. Come to think of it, ANYTHING can make a young girl scared.

Nobody has ever claimed that rank and file German soldiers were evil. That label is reserved for the upper echelons of command, SS, Gestapo, heads of state etc.

Of course you will never accept other views on this because it will cause you "cognitive dissonance" and your brain simply cannot comprehend alternative views or it will pop.

Cognitive dissonance, what a load of shit.
People have claimed that the American Indians could not see the first European ships to arrive there because it was so out of their world their minds simply couldn't process them. This has been debunked as pure fucking shit.
This brain could do with some more dimethyltryptamine.

What is the difference between ignorance and apathy? "I don't know and I don't care."

Nice Vodzy and well put. Same for you Odeon.

OK it's not mature or sophisticated.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

The English were on enemy soil, fighting hard and most likely shit scared.

The Germans came to my country as occupiers whereas the English came to my country as liberators. At least, that's how most people understood the events. You make it sound like Belgians all welcomed the Germans and fought the English  ::)

By the way, the area my grandmother lived in was a hotbed of civilian violence with both a significant number of collaborators and resistence fighters. My grandmother even remembers a collaborator being chased over the rooftops by a resistance fighter. That's hardly an environment where I would feel safe if I were a German soldier.

The German language is closer to Dutch than English is, AFAIK.

I've heard a very similar story when I was in Poland. A Polish man told me how his mother had very positive experiences with German soldiers (handing out food and medicine and praying together with her) and how his mother was scared to death for the Russians (they were known for murdering and raping and actually killed his father - he was one of the many officers murdered by the Sovjets in Katyn). This example shows it goes beyond linguistic closeness.

Come to think of it, ANYTHING can make a young girl scared.

Then why wasn't she scared of the "evil German invaders" her parents were forced to house in their home?

Nobody has ever claimed that rank and file German soldiers were evil. That label is reserved for the upper echelons of command, SS, Gestapo, heads of state etc.

If you actually look at the facts, you'll notice that Third Reich leaders were keen on upholding the highest moral and behavioral standards.

Of course you will never accept other views on this because it will cause you "cognitive dissonance" and your brain simply cannot comprehend alternative views or it will pop.

During my process of intellectual grows, I moved from liberal catholic to anarchist wiccan to anarcho-capitalist buddhist to the views I hold today. Stop implying that I'm narrowminded as I am as openminded as a man can be. In is in fact that very openmindedness that allowed me to evolve in this fashion.

Let me ask you a question : if it is so evident that there truely was a genocide, then why fight Holocaust Revisionism with laws rather than debate? Why must Holocaust revisionists be defamed and their arguments distorted by their critics? Why is the fate of the Jews during WW2 the ONLY historical event for which special censorship laws are created?

Because you can (and do) still hurt those that survived the Nazi genocide, as well as their relatives, and because it is not an abstract exercise, to be taken lightly by neo Nazis such as yourself. The world should never be allowed to forget.

I've had enough of you. I will report you to your ISP, as this discussion is a public one and you are deliberately breaking the laws of your country. In the meanwhile, fel free to continue. I'm sure your ISP will appreciate any material you can provide.

Oh, and btw, for the record: I'm not Jewish.

The Holocaust Revisionist position is offensive to Jews, but the official status quo is offensive to national-socialists, former national-socialists and their families. Especially SS-veterans are deeply offended, considering the status quo depicts then as horrible monsters.

Both viewpoints are offensive to some and all deserve the right to know what truely happened during WW2. The truth should prevail over whether or not someone is offended.

because it is not an abstract exercise, to be taken lightly by neo Nazis such as yourself.

I'm not taking this issue lightly at all. By the way, I find the label "neo-nazi" quite offensive too. It seems you're very selective about offending people.

What ISP are you reporting my to?

Then why the hell do you behave in such an intolerant and irrational manner?

Please note that I'm not an antisemite and I would not regard you as inferior or evil if my suspicions about your Jewish background turned out to be true.

Oh, and btw, for the record: I'm not Jewish.
Then why the hell do you behave in such an intolerant and irrational manner?

Gee, that all makes sense now doesn't.

Btw, My Grandmother lived in an occupied Holland during WW2, my Grandfather escaped Poland and was later captured and forced to work in a labour camp. If you think the Germans were the good guys, why did they invade and occupy other lands that were not their own and why did they capture and force people to work in labour camps?

Sure my grandmother said the same stories about how german soldiers were safe to be around, Im sure they were just doing their job, they didnt have to be pigs about it. She also said that the American soldiers werent safe to be around, one could get raped etc, but has anything changed there. She doesn't think that the germans were good guys, she even got upset when germany reuinified, scared that history would repeat itself, that a reunified germany would once again become power mad.

If you are also wondering if I am jewish or anything, the closest I come to being jewish I think is that my great grandfather was jewish but his wife wasnt, which of course you know means that anyone after that isnt considered jewish, so I guess Im not. Not that it matters.

I already explained why this makes sense. Jews are more emotionally connected to this issue than other people, so it only logical that there are more hostile and irrational than gentiles with regards to those questioning or disputing aspects of the Holocaust myth.

First of all, there were thousands of people in both Holland and Belgium who volunteered to join the Labor service or the Waffen-SS. I've heard of people who were sent for forced labor to Germany and who came back as convinced national-socialists. You make it seem like the Germans were all evil oppressors, but this is far from true. In fact, my people probably was better off under German rule than under Belgian rule.

So why did Hitler invade the low countries? He did so for the same reasons England invaded Greece during WW1. I'm pretty sure I already explained that in the article that I posted in a previous post.

Sure my grandmother said the same stories about how german soldiers were safe to be around, Im sure they were just doing their job, they didnt have to be pigs about it. She also said that the American soldiers werent safe to be around, one could get raped etc

For me, this is very telling about both German and American culture of that era. Germans were obviously far more civilised than Americans.

She doesn't think that the germans were good guys, she even got upset when germany reuinified, scared that history would repeat itself, that a reunified germany would once again become power mad.

Considering that's the view non-German Europeans were indoctrinated with before, during (from the clandestine media) as well as after the war, it's quite a normal reaction.

What's really surprising, is that there were still many thousands of people in all German-occupied countries who volunteered to join the Waffen-SS and risked their lives fighting the Bolscheviks in spite of all the anti-German propaganda before the war and (from the clandestine media) during the war.

If you are also wondering if I am jewish or anything, the closest I come to being jewish I think is that my great grandfather was jewish but his wife wasnt, which of course you know means that anyone after that isnt considered jewish, so I guess Im not. Not that it matters.

You don't sound nearly as irrational and hostile as odeon, so I have no reason to suspect you're Jewish. Besides, your family history implies otherwise.

IlluSionS667, you seem to believe what you want to believe. If you search long and hard and arent to discerning, you can find so called evidence for anything.

Your statement couldn't be further from the truth. Do you think I actually enjoy being called a kook, an extremist, a neo-nazi or whatever label people have in store for those who disagree with certain elements of the status quo? Do you think I enjoy being a pariah?

My views are my views for no other reason but them being the result of intensive research. I wish the facts supported the status quo, but they just don't.

If you search long and hard and arent to discerning, you can find so called evidence for anything.

I'm not talking about so-called evidence. If you actually took the time to do the research without prejudice yourself, you'd know that all the real evidence proves me right.

You are running the risk of martyring him here, don't do it. Those laws are also very unfair imo, and are counterproductive in combating extremism.

It makes him a hypocrite, since he is the owner of a forum that is supposed to stand for "freedom of expression, combative debate, and the generation of ideas". You cannot on one hand stand for freedom of speech, combative debate and the generation of ideas and on the other hand take actions against someone for doing exactly that.

How could any member have reported him to his ISP? Any member can't see his IP, so any member doesn't know what ISP he has...
