Here a photo of a tree that was cut in the 1950's when they built this house right over it and it kept trying to grow

parts, what a determined tree!

I saw a sign at a shop that was closed for the holidays until the new year that they look forward to seeing their customers again in 2007. I think they were confused. I wish I could have taken a photo of it.

The central part of the metropolitan area is made up of urban sprawl and industrial areas criss-crossed with canals and the River Mersey. There are one or two pairs of Black Redstarts in the city centre and nationally important numbers of Pochard and Tufted Duck are found in Salford Docks in winter.

Doesn't sound too exciting for birds.

I was voted on by my co-workers as the "performer of the day" (some menial little way of backslapping that goes on everyday at work) on thursday, just for doing my fucking job, but since I was not there on friday, I did not know until I saw my picture posted, during my break. I took it down, broke the frame, and tore it up and puit it i the trash. I told my boss to see to it that this never happens again.

It was up all day friday, though, with the stupid little graphics that they put around the pic, which was taken from a security cam of me.

What is team spirit about that.

I only took mine down. not the rest. they can have theirs up if they want. i just don't want any of this.

Someone went on a rampage in a house a few towns away with a chainsaw :o Can't find the story online yet I'll post it if I do.  They cut up all the cabinets and a lot of the sheetrock
