I would also appreciate it if you didn't mention this over there, or make people aware that I posted it.

I also find it somewhat distressing that Hannah Capps' picture was shown like that in that manner.

Hannah Capps, someone who was around on WP sometime ago. I spoke to her on an IM program for a little bit. But she's disappeared..Or has disappeared from my periphery

self irony. that was a bunch of idiots who have no idea what AS is and they're the reason we have such a hard time in life, because they are the fucking majority. they're the reason i never feel like i can be myself without feeling judged and disrespected. it pisses me off.

Some of them might now what it is, but just don't know how it is to have it but again it's not like it's compulsary to know every single diagnosis. When I meet people like that I either inform them of what Asperger really is or I just don't give a crap. Of course you feel judged and disrespected, but hey that's how most people do feel like, either because of gender roles, religious belief or being a minority. Or just simple social constructions. But I just don't think that silly people like that are worth my attention and care, so I ignore them and to whatever the heck I'd like, and if it's someone that I might consider being friendly against I inform them. Nothing harder than that really.

no you don't have to know every diagnosis, but you don't have to utter ignorant things like "aspergers is just an excuse for the socially retarded losers who don't have friends or can't get girl or boyfriends" either. yeah i ignore people like that, but i clicked on the link and it pissed me off.
