Everyone should start moving to Spokane and then it will all get expensive to live there because all the prices will go up on the homes and the rent will go up too.
Twenty years ago the housing was very cheap here in Portland. You could buy houses here under 100,000. My parents bought houses here to rent out and they cost 20,000 and the other cost 25,000. Now the houses are in priced range $300,000s to over $1,000,000 ranges. It be very hard to find a home that is lower than $300,000's. My parents are talking about moving back but it's so expensive they say and I tell them, buy a condo because they're a lot cheaper or live in apartment but they would have to get rid of lot of their stuff or find a place nearby that is affordable and move there.
