I did a Kanner thing lol

Today I was talking to one of my online aspie friends and he said he had to "brb" and left and was back few minutes later and said "back." I asked him "Where did I go?" instead of "Where did u go?" Luckily he knew what I meant because he pointed out to me I messed up on "I" as well because it should be "you". I had "dod" for did you I typed "did*" for the correct spelling. I hate it when I do mistypes and hate it when I type "I" for "you" or "you" for "I" so as a joke I said "I did a kanner thing lol".

But I don't say "I" for "you" in real life nor "You" for "I" but only happens sometimes online instead but it did happen one time with my ex back in February. It was embarrassing.


Anyone else do that on IM?

ICQ, AIM, msn messenger, and yahoo messenger are all IM. IM stands for instant messaging.

i mess up stuff on IM, but i dunno if i've ever said i for you... i have a default word finder in my brain, like if i start writing a word if i'm not thinking it might come out as something else that starts with the same letter... or i write "right" instead of "write" or something like that.

it was funny at the time though. i didn't notice till they said they agree and i thought i'd finally got through to them that they weren't ugly lol

Anyone else do that on IM?

I'm usually meticulous when typing (though there will always be errors...), most of the above I do while speaking...It can be so irritating.

I wouldn't use the word hot.
I find you attractive, pretty, and
cute. Which, to me, is much better.

My wife used to always say she was just
weird looking. She was beautiful. You remind
