I also like to receive information from Vivi, Pyraxis, Dunc, Serissa, all the old staff members who were involved with Alex.

I didn't keep any info/logs/etc and didn't have any significant contact with him.  Sorry.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.

Jman....

Jman rides through the internet on horesback throwing flaming pumpkins.
That is what I said about my mom.  Plus one karma for anyone who can correctly piece together what I said.
I can always piece together what you say Randy (though dont plus me atm, I want my Karma to remain on 8 :P).

What's wrong God, did you get tired of 666 karma?  >:D
It was too toasty :P

I also like to receive information from Vivi, Pyraxis, Dunc, Serissa, all the old staff members who were involved with Alex.

A scan through my chat logs unearthed the following - dunno if any of it's useful. I haven't revealed anything I told him I wouldn't repeat. I am Griffon.

Quote from: Chat log 04-09-06
Griffon: well it basically changed wrongplanet's future. The site does have less conflict but it is no longer a support site
alex: Well, it is a support site
alex: thats the point
Griffon: it may have the words "support" on it, but that doesn't mean it's run in a way that actually supports people
alex: how does it not support people?
alex: people email me or send me pms telling me that they're supported
Griffon: It supports some people but not others. It supports people who like you and agree with you and does not support those who don't.
alex: the only people who don't like me are the ones who disagree with the fact that i want to run the site as a support site
Griffon: No, many of the people who left wanted WP to be a support site. They disagreed that the way you were running it actually supported people
alex: many of the people is about 5-10
alex: even if it had been 100 people
Griffon: True, it would be more accurate to say about half the people. The other half were frustrated with the rules
alex: thats a small minority of the site
alex: how is 10 people half
alex: thats not true
Griffon: okay, what are your estimate numbers?
alex: are you saying half of the members of wrongplanet left?
alex: thats bs because they have about 25 people on onthespectrum.com who post there
alex: and most of those still post on wrongplanet
alex: and we have about 500 people who actively post
Griffon: no no no. I was saying that half the people who left (which would probably be around 30) thought WP should be a support site. The other half were flamer-types who thought the rules were too strict
alex: and when i say actively i mean at least 5 a day
alex: 30 people left?
alex: there aren't even 30 people posting to OTS on regular basis

Quote from: Chat log 03-31-06
Griffon: Hi Alex, I'm home
Griffon: Are you going to re-enable my admin privileges?
alex: someone is pretending to be you on a different account
Griffon: huh? what are they doing, and where?
alex: [email address deleted for privacy]
Griffon: that is my msn address
Griffon: I just messaged you on msn
alex: oh

(...)

alex: people think i'm a good leader
alex: the people who don't are in the minority
Griffon: Then why is the mods team shrinking so quickly? Did they all see you as a good leader?
alex: the mods weren't selected by me
alex: they weren't loyal
alex: most members and moderators respect me
alex: and beebee is misguided
alex: i want you to help but I want to have the final say because it is my site and I know what's best for it
alex: I have the most experience
alex: in running the site
alex: that's all I want
alex: and I think that's reasonable
alex: I still want you to help out
alex: I'm not going to micromanage you
alex: but you have to respect my calls on the direction of the site
alex: you can disagree but I still want you to do it that way
Griffon: How do I know you won't micromanage me, though? Every time you say you won't be involved, or that you made a mistake to be involved, you turn around the next day and start doing things again
alex: You weren't there to do anythinmg
alex: and I wanted them done
Griffon: And that is the kind of situation that makes me wary of helping at all
alex: Well, I run the site. I think it's fair that I be allowed to fire people who violate agreements
alex: not you
alex: the mods
alex: as I said, I will have to trust you to delete posts that violate rules because I don't have time to
alex: but you didn't delete any posts that violated rules
Griffon: That would be fine, you firing people, IF you could manage to do it without causing trouble. But every time you do, shit gets stirred up, people become angry and less loyal. And it's gotten to a point that I can't do my job unless you stop
alex: like tonight, i had to violate like 2 week old posts from nomaken advocating that someone commit suicide
alex: *delete
alex: not violate
alex: you need to be able to manage the site if I fire someone who doesn't belong on the site's staff
alex: of course people will get angry
alex: but I have to do what's best for the site in the long run
Griffon: The problem is that I disagree with some of your decisions. And unfortunately I have to stand up for what I believe in. I do have the same goals you do, of creating a safe and thriving and prosperous community.

Quote from: Chat log 03-30-06
alex: this guy freaks me out: http://www.wrongplanet.net/asperger.html?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=207052#207052
Griffon: ah ok misunderstood
alex: what shall be done?
alex: have u seen all the posts he talks about horrible things in?
Griffon: yeah... he has some pretty serious issues
Griffon: I haven't read all his posts but I've read a few
alex: read that one tho
alex: thats like willfreund
alex: isn't it
Griffon: yeah... thanks for pointing this out. It might be like WillFruend. It's hard to tell how serious such threats are, over the internet
Griffon: Can you track his IP and find out where he is?
alex: i don't see the poitn in doing that
Griffon: Well in case we had to contact the authorities
alex: they'd laugh at us
alex: the authorities
alex: and think we were some crazy pranksters
alex: hey that would be good media though
alex: i like the idea
alex: if the guy actually did it
Griffon: That's sick
alex: yeah it is
Griffon: The authorities probably wouldn't call us pranksters, but they'd probably say their hands were tied and they didn't have enough information
alex: i still like the idea of calling them
alex: what's sick though? him or the police?
alex: well i know he's sick
alex: but I don't know what you were referring to
Griffon: what's sick is the idea that we should hope for people to get murdered just to get the site some publicity
alex: that is pretty sick and I don't know what that has to do with anything we're talking about
Griffon: It was a response to you saying that it would be good media if he actually did it. But you're right, it's not relevant to what we're talking about.
alex: wtf?
alex: i never said that
Griffon: alex: hey that would be good media though
alex: i like the idea
alex: if the guy actually did it
Griffon: Did I misunderstand?
alex: i like the idea of contacting the authorities
Griffon: oh!
alex: it would be good media instead of bad media if we contacted them and he committed the murder anyway
alex: because it would show that we couldn't do anything
alex: for willfruend either
alex: that's what i was saying

Quote from: Chat log 03-20-06
Griffon: Nor do I think it's really fair to have a bunch of "hidden" people with moderator access
alex: well amber seems to not have logged on for more than 1 year
alex: and
alex: the whole idea of the hidden moderators
alex: its a secret thing
alex: doesn't serve a purpose
Griffon: ok.... I think it should be changed then
alex: oh why?
alex: i kinda think its cool
Griffon: well you said it doesn't serve a purpose... why is it cool?
alex: gives a little mystery
Griffon: but it also makes people suspicious
Griffon: and distrustful of the mods/admins/developers
alex: no one knows about it, however
Griffon: but they see the effects of it. People have asked why Fiz's name is green, for example
Griffon: and jman
alex: so you just want me to make it so their name isn't green?
Griffon: That would be ok, but my real point is that I think it is a bad idea to give that group access to the mods forum
Griffon: It betrays the confidence of the moderators
Griffon: and it betrays privacy
Griffon: Also if they take mod actions, it casts suspicions on the mods themselves
Griffon: for example somebody deleted Hecate's post. It could have been one of them. We dont' know.
alex: no, it wasn't.
Griffon: How do you know?
alex: i know
Griffon: But you told me earlier that you didn't know

Complaining about people improves lives.

:-\ Complaining about this particular person - or, getting more information out there about him - helps break his cycles of destruction.
