"If it looks like a , and quacks like a , we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands." - Douglas Adams (English Writer) 1952-2001

The garbage disposal in the dishroom at work made weird noises when I ran it. Reaching into it with tongs, I removed a couple of pieces of wire, the type that's used in spiral-bound notebooks. I have no idea what that stuff was doing in the disposal. I've never seen items like that in the disposal in almost 28 years on the job. The kid who worked yesterday had no idea either.

Sometimes residents leave trash at the table. One woman thought she'd left her dentures at the table and had us digging through the garbage to no avail. Who knows?

Who knows? now i wonder what happened to the rest of the notebook?
