Me too. I guess everyone can keep doing that to be frugal.

It's better to replace the bag since fine dust clogs up the pores of the used bag, reducing suction.

I have too. It isn't as good as having a replacement though.

Edit: Just saw your post above about the replacement being better as the suction is more efficient. This is why I prefer vacuum cleaners that use bags over the fancy "bagless" ones.

Are bagless ones okay? Do they last a while too? I have a bagless vacuum. I just have to open the thing to empty it out. After every few vacuumes, it needs to be emptied. That's how fast it gets full.
