Gado Gado, with basmati rice, green beens, carrots, mung been sprouts and cucumber, peanut sauce of course. And some acar campur and krupuk going with it.
For dessert chocolate ice, pieces of orange, an orange caramel sauce and some biscuits.
I had a great meal with 4 girls who were completely bananas. (in a pleasant way)
:cynan: :branna:
I'm extremely jealous of that meal right now.
And your dancing :cynan: :branna:
I feel sorry for the banana though, he only has one bulging eye. :cynan:
And I think the orange has AS, he's a little bit unco-ordinated, but I guess he's giving it a go with a smile on his face!
Yes, he's imitating the behavior of others in order to fit in!
Either that, or he's related to me! I am a similarly awkward dancer!
I wanted different dancers for every girl. One of them is an aspie indeed, the other three are all very quirky.
Today, the young ladies were not into food, apart from pizza. And I was not planning on letting them have that. So I got various small things on the table, in the hope that they would find enough to enjoy in their pickiness. Raw vegetables, they love raw carrots, and will eat cucumber and tomatoes without a whine too.
And baked potatoes, spiced up rice, something spanakopita inspired, and olives.
They ate almost all of it.
Dessert was inspired by the leftover sauce of yesterdays dessert. Whipped it with some cream, served it with the remaining chocolate ice-cream, and with a chocolate mint.
Truly a weekend delight.
