I'm making a roasted pork tenderloin with an apple dijon mustard glaze alongside roasted sweet potatoes, baby potatoes, carrots and apple slices for dinner.

I actually said to HB, this feels so fancy I honestly didn't think I could pull this shit off. It didn't help that I forgot to put the timer on the oven for the first half of it. Thank god for meat thermometers  :laugh:

Breakfast was the usual bagel and light laughing cow cheese.
Lunch was leftover roasted veggies. Didn't have a lot left so added a yogurt and some tuna on the side.
Dinner is chicken strips, different roasted veggies and a salad

Take out fried chicken and potatoes.

I haven't had take out anything since probably Feb.

I can't believe how good it tastes...I am beyond tired of my own cooking.

I think I told this story before. I went for a 4 day trip to London with my first girlfriend, she was from New York. We stopped at KFC because she had a craving for chicken and biscuits. I had to break it to her that they don't do biscuits. So she let out a sigh and said "okay, I'll just have the potato and gravy". When I told her that they don't do potato and gravy but they do have little tubs of baked beans she said "What the fuck???".

On a similar note, in Indonesia they used to have "Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits" but they still didn't do biscuits even though it was in the name. They did chicken and rice.

I don't remember the story, but, yeah, different countries have different tastes to cater to.  The local KFC does have baked beans in little tubs.  I prefer the green beans along with the mashed potatoes and gravy as sides.

Breakfast was the usual. Lunch I think I'll make roasted veggies (I think it's a new food obsession) and tonight I'm making chicken korma with rice and naan. I like to slow cook the chicken for 6 hours in the sauce. So good.
