Bagel with laughing cow cheese, the usual. Hot chocolate. That was breakfast.

Made myself a carbonated water using SodaStream and added lemon and lime juice to it. Yesterday I didn't put in enough and it was meh. Today I put in too much. Maybe tomorrow it will be just right.  :facepalm2:

Making a sheet pan dinner of roasted vegetables and hot Italian sausage with seasonings. One of my favourites.

Omelette with green onions, mushrooms, ham, tasty cheddar, and parmesan. It was really good. Trying to be strict on the low carb diet now.

If the goal is to lose weight, PM me and I can tell you about the program that I'm on. It's not a diet. It uses psychology (CBT) to help change your relationship with your body and with food. No food is off limits. I've lost over 50 lbs and it's been positive and relatively easy. No magic pills, or potions. I haven't even been working out until recently. But with everything I've learned, it's the first time in my life that I'm not worried about gaining what I've lost and with no restrictions it's far easier to stick to it.

And if you're going low carb for other reasons, ignore everything above

Low carb is for a few reasons including weight loss.

It is the only thing (that I've tried) that works for me and is sustainable. And also enjoyable.

We'll done on the weight loss.

My son is funny. At his age I woke up hungry and ate everything in sight. Today he woke up around 11 and was just sitting on the sofa. I asked him if he was hungry and he said "maybeeeee?".

What that means, from him, is that he will eat if I offer him something interesting. Otherwise he won't eat.

Low carb lemon cheesecake.

It was supposes to be vanilla cheesecake but my wife used all the vanilla and didn't tell me.

Turned out real good anyway.

Also some tempeh, which is some kind of plant protein popular in Indonesia.

Tamales with homemade chili sauce.

Nope. I wish I could say I made the tamales, but I bought them at local shop. Tamales are a "new years" thing for most Hispanic folk. I took advantage.
The tamales were amazing! My sauce is made the way I like it made.
The fabulous tamales are what I am talking about.
