Made ham (slow smoked outside on the grille Sunday morning) and eggs for breakfast with some fried potatoes and onions.
My son wanted grits, so I walked him through the stove top process, but he made the grits. Not that we needed two major starches for one meal, but any interest in cooking for themselves from my kids I try to embrace and nurture.
