By combining the peanut butter and oatmeal I get a quick b'fast with fiber and protein.  No extra pan to wash for an egg.

Lunch was pepper beef on whole wheat bread
grapes for a snack
porkchop, grits casserole and fresh fruit for dinner

Grits casserole is merely cooked grits with a can of corn stirred in, add some milk, grated cheese and hot sauce.

Will probably have some tea and toast before bed.

I think I might have to try that queen vic. I love porridge, cheap as hell and very filling and satisfying.

Hmm...porridge with peanut butter? never heard of that before. I like mine salted and swimming in a lake of molten butter, real, salty butter, not clover or any of those butter-imitation spreads. Ick.

Or covered in either golden syrup, or honey.

Never had it with peanut butter though, I might have to try that, as I've got a jar of some really nice crunchy stuff, some really high quality peanut butter, and its delicious just about any way, on sandwiches etc...lol I'll even eat it straight out of the jar.

Currently noshing down 3/4 of a roast chicken, cold from the fridge, yes, as usual, slathered in lots of tabasco sauce. Washed down with dandelion and burdock.

Lutra...that looks like a plate of dog sick garnished with a tomato, if I'm totally honest :P

Ah ... there's the spicy food post.  Had me worried for a second.

Breaded chicken patty, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots for second meal

Nothing exciting. Crumpet in the morning. Homemade pizza in the evening. Skipped lunch. Haven't had much of an appetite lately.

Mashed potatoes and meat balls. Yummy.

Cabbage soup and frikadeller. Frikadeller are (in the Swedish meaning of the word) boiled meatballs, though the name suggests that they are fried.

About to have chicken in mushroom sauce served over a bed of buttered noodles with a salad on the side.

I found some new casserole recipes. I'm hoping to try one or two this week:

Ate this pile of shite, accompanied with a broccoli soup, for supper this evening.

(Um.. ) (real butter, olive oil, some bacon/diced, shallot, teaspoon of flour, thin rings of leek, with a soft brush cleaned chanterelles, a splash of white wine, a glove of garlic, pinch of salt, a couple of 'turns' of freshly grated bl. pepper, cream, couple of almonds chopped finely, fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.. on a bedlet of iceberg lettuce.. on a slice of bread)

Well, pile of s.? No, not at all.. it's rather a piece of intense yumminess (in my book). Um, wake me up, at 4 (or 5) o'clock in the morning, showing me a basket full of nice chanterelles.. and ja, quite a lot of things could happen then. :autism: I don't know..
