calandale was offically banned I guess for personal attacks and or defamation/slander by calling Quartermass homophobic, although the argument in that thread was pretty nasty and Mr. Mark was just looking for any excuse to ban calandale. A pretty shit way to go, honestly, but I'm not sure calandale saw it coming because he didn't really do anything to deserve to be banned. Should've at least burned some eyes by posting disgusting pictures with innocent titles to the threads.

I don't think that's completely fair, though. Wrongplanet does have a lot of influence on what the media knows about Asperger's, through consultations over various news stories, which is probably due to whatever he spends for promotion. Better than journalists just making assumptions, because it's really the only public entity out there (of any real size) to humanize Asperger's.

Someone posted a picture of his house somewhere, and it looked pretty large and expensive to me.

I could not find a value for his house, but there is another house in the same neighborhood for sale just two miles away and they are asking $1.15 million dollars for it.

For one thing, I'd tend to think that most people would inflate their income if they were going to post it on myspace, especially a guy like Alex who's probably pretty desperate for a chick. For another, why would a college student have a house unless it was his parents house, in which case money he got from wrongplanet would have nothing to do with how expensive it was? As far as I know, that site's been up barely three years, hardly long enough for it to affect a major real estate decision like that.
