My main goal is to provide a place for people with Asperger's to communicate and grow as individuals. I hate moderating as it generally is a reactive thing that takes away some of the time I want to use to build new features that give everyone a better user experience.

I no longer have the time to follow every issue on the forums and have to trust the WP staff; even though they make mistakes. I see people banned and I don't always know why they're banned, but with 14,000 members, knowing about every single incident that occurs on the site is impossible. I don't ban anyone but obvious spammers myself, just because I always empathize with what it's like to be banned from somewhere. its a yucky feeling.

Anyway, I try to let the moderators make their own decisions.

calandale didn't say anything. Mr. Mark was menstruating at the time and didn't see the joking tone of calandale's posts. Mr. Mark was not being civil, I tried to apologize for derailing his precious thread and he just gave me the silent treatment. Because Mr Mark didn't accept my apology I was just going to go tell him that he could blow me because he wasn't acting very civil but alex locked the thread before I could. Maybe I should start a thread there called "Blow me Mr. Mark" and see if he responds.

What should I bring to your banning party calandale. Chips, dip, hookers, beer, porn?

Start a petition asking for Mr Mark to be reigned in.

I want to vouch for Alex not being that bad of a guy. And most of the bannings I've seen on WP stemmed from people not thinking about it as a support site, which is what it is. That being said, I have no idea what the hell you did to get banned.

Or maybe we could just say his behaviour goes against the antibullying policy, or the anti porn rules (very easy one to fix). There are quite tight regulations in most institions governing uni network use, my bet is he has broken several

Also, theoretically, someone could do the same thing to you, and since you're so willing to assume he's connected through his university because he attends one, I'd be willing to be that you are.
