My Dad came out of hospital today, after 4 weeks, with only a two day break.

Yay hyke's dad, how is he feeling?  :)

Quite well, thank you.

He lost quite some weight though, weighing 10% less than four weeks ago.

What was wrong?

End September he was found, hardly conscious, with a heartbeat of 20 a minute. Only one chamber of his heart was still active. Temp pace maker, then pacemaker, then delirium, then complications, including a minor pneumonia. Another pace-maker, lots of research to get medication right. Now he is home. Come Monday he'll hear how his cancer is behaving..... I so hope that 18 months of monthly chemo have cured that completely.

Or me!

Screened a really quirky, but sweet man for a high needs kitty who is in desperate need of a good home. Very excited for them both.

Prince Albert and I had a simple dinner out at Denny's.  Eggs, potatoes, sausage, cheese, bell pepper and onion.
