Just got called in for a job interview.

 That's great, what kind of job is it?  Does it involve music?   

Unfortunately no, not a musical one, just a phone consultant. I went today despite my brain throwing a tantrum about having to deal with a job interview and 3 new students in one day (its arguments ranged from "No, no, no!" to the more articulate "Fuck it, I'm not going."). I didn't get the job because they were looking for someone with full-time availability, but the interview was quite easy and painless, and I'm just happy because this is the most success I've had with my job hunt in a long time.

 As for me, I am pleased to be mentioned in a QV post, I like her humor and think she is awesome. 

I love the humour of QV, and, when needed, outside humour, QV can be direct in her approach.

Lutra, I'm glad you posted this.  I did not mean to mock you when I asked the salivating/lactating question.  I just didn't catch the absurdity of it, my bad.  I was sincere when I said I admired people who are fluent in more than one language.  One of America's great failings is that some of the "White" population haven't even mastered English, much less a second language. 

I'm sorry that I implied that your Dutch words and phrases were inappropriate.  I suppose it's a case of differing senses of humours.
