That's a really positive outcome. We've decided to change the approach to get a job too. Kind of detour to make employers less scared to hire someone with a label. Long term thinking though. For now the first action will be applying for those two jobs. for taking action to make your life better! And how are your career change plans going? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink?

We had an afterwork activity--we went pistol shooting on a shooting range and got to try three different firearms (hey, PPK, aren't you proud of me now?) of which one was the magnum 357. Can't remember the others but there was a small-calibre one designed for competitions and one with more bang than the Magnum.I did reasonably well, considering, and it was a lot of fun.
It was fun. I think I can see some of the attraction. The guy at work who arranged this is Captain of Sweden's Olympic team. It was pretty awesome to see him show how it's really done.
Great physio session today, normal therapist was off so I had a lovely new student one. Pushed myself really hard and even better I could actually use all the stuff I wanted as it wasn't overcrowded. Woohoo!
I heard Prince Albert cursing and swearing mightily in the other room. He was trying to re-attach a watch band. After hearing several minutes of this I took over and for the first time in my life I replaced a watch band. I used a letter opener type staple remover to squeeze the spring bar and while it took a few tries I managed to do it in less than 5 minutes, including a learning curve.

Good job figuring it out so quickly. I used to work in a jewelry store, so I have replaced lots of watch bands.

Good job figuring it out so quickly. I used to work in a jewelry store, so I have replaced lots of watch bands. Was it difficult to learn or merely tedious until you learned it? Is there a special tool that's used to depress the spring bar or can something like tweezers be used?I always thought it was some esoteric skill that only some people were allowed to learn. I will admit that I lost one of the spring bars when it flew somewhere in the room. We had another watch band for a different colored watch, so I scrounged from it. I will try to buy a watch from Goodwill with the right width band the next time since that might be cheaper in the long run.

She plopped down on my bed and told me to go ahead and open it for her.14:11 - Peter5930: So, she thought I was your lover and that I was sending you a box full of sex toys, and that you wanted to move to Glasgow to be with me?
