Trapped Jess under the duvet for a cuddle but then she escaped. guess she wasn't tired

I don't blame you for trying. She's so cute that I can't stand it!  :)

Jess isn't as snuggly as Flo was coz she's not fat and she won't stay still long enough

But I do like picking her up, plonking her on the bed and then quickly trapping her under the sheets

Sometimes she curls up near my stomach and goes to sleep

Flo preferred right next to my face

I think jess would stay there most often and for longer if I didn't have Zhukov (the bird) in the same room, as she always gets tempted and goes off to hunt him

Maybe she'll mellow a bit when she grows up. For now, you have the fun of capturing her!

My dad changed oil and oil filter in my Volvo for me.  :viking: :hotrodder:

You have an 850, right? With what engine?

The 2.5 litre, 10 valves. Wished I had a 20 valves instead. Though I save some money on petrol.

I got a S60 D5 turbo diesel.  To be honest it's not as bad on fuel as my old Merc.  I love the car, never had a Volvo before, but i am a big fan now.  I dunno how many valves it has though, doh,  lol

The D5's got a lot of torque. :viking:
Yeah it has got some poke!  The reason i love it is it's very understated, and comfortable, and i do like the safety thing about volvo's.  I feel safe with my little boy in it.  When i was younger i had a MR2 t-bar,  i used to call it my babe magnet lol.   but i would hate a 'flashy' car like that now.  My old Merc was ok too, just cost too much and never had the chance to drive a Jag,  although i had a go in a Daimler limousine once :viking:
blah blah blah

TBH i don't know much about the daimler - jag connection but they must have been linked at one time.  This car was at a funeral directors where i worked when i left school.  They taught me to drive (not in the limo)  but i did take it round the block a few times.  I don't know what model or anything but it was old and posh  :zoinks:

While I was outside The Tides restaurant @ Bodega Bay earlier today I saw a small grayish Harbor Seal (Phoca vitulina richardsi Zeg!) for a few minutes before it went under. I did not have my camera. The ones we have in the SF Bay around Benicia and Vallejo tend to be mostly black with brown spots and larger, this one was gray and seemed to be only about 3' long, perhaps it was a juvenile.   :dunno: It was good to see, seals are wonderful animals with excellent specialized skills.    :viking:

When seals dive deep they constrict blood vessels in their heads to minimize heat loss and O2 consumption. They are excellent at catching fish, evading sharks and just plain being seals. They are intelligent creative problem solvers. I like living where I can see them year around, they are fascinating animals. Here is a picture of a mama Harbor Seal with pup @ La Jolla CA, this is actually the same coloration I saw at Bodega Bay today, our seals in the SF Bay are darker. How could you not like these critters?
