Definitely Johnny Vegas.  Peter Kay isn't fat, but then he isn't really funny these days either.

Not recently.  Have had some very nice ciders though I did have a nice pint of mild in a pub in Lytham that I can't quite remember the name of.  Mmm.  Knocking off the drink a bit.
