Ok i not saying kids should have sex (15 and 17 are still kids to me) but i think the crime should fit the punshment. unless he forse her to do it she had a part in it. what i saying 10 years seems a lot not only that but what they do to child mulester in jail make it even worse. I hope things work out for this young man and the out raged of this make them put a end to this.

They changed the law in Georgia so that intercourse between consenting teens would not be prosecuted so harshly, but they can't make retroactive laws, therefore the Supreme Court wouldn't let him out of prison because he broke the law when he got oral sex from the girl, even though it was consentual

That sucks Callaway.  This is a 2 year age difference.   It isn't the same thing as someone who is 20+ having sex with a 15 year old or anything.   That 17 year old kid is going to get fucked up bad in prison for 10 years, won't even be the same person when he gets out most likely.   What a shame.
