I know that feeling, I had a major case of it last week (I have a kids birthday on sunday too  :o ), but now I've pretty much got all the presents bought and a lot wrapped up.  Don't need to worry about too much social shit, we don't really do much of that- we always say that xmas is a time for the kids and for being together as a family so it gets us out of the whole going to family parties shit.

Yep, but it doesn't go away easily, for me. I still have a few gifts to work out. We had a kindergarten sing along on Tuesday night, Wife's birthday on Thursday, on Sunday, big family day. Tuesday, next, second grade sing along play (they get to move around). Then the following Friday, Daughter's birthday ... so we're booked solid. You know when you stress out and chew through your inner cheek, I'm there already and when I relax and forget about it, I make it bleed again. FUCK!

I finally got the dead skin chewed off of it though.
