There's some extra food (done some grocery buying yesterday).. Care for a slice of baguette with some smoked salmon on it (squeeze of lemon juice/salt and pepper)? Well, that's what I'm having at the moment (with some tea that is).

 It sounds delicious!  I've never tried smoked salmon but the lemon juice, salt and pepper sound like good additions!

Don't you like to eat fish or solely smoked salmon? Well, juice, salt and pepper is, imo, an unmissable addition here. (seafood and something sourish like lemon juice are a really good combo.

 I like nice plain fish, like haddock, but it really does need    !

Favourite here is smoked mackerel, I think. Gadidae family is lovely too. Haddock, cod, blue whiting, etc.. um, really nice. Well, I love to eat fish and don't really understand someone who says s/he doesn't like to.  Well, everybody should suit themselves of course.

 I cook a little at work and am beginning to understand how badly cooked fish could put somebody off fish altogether.
 I am just starting to get it right.  I used to dry the fish out too much; now I know better.

Basic rule when frying fish in a pan (and this goes for a lot of meat too), make sure your pan, the quite a lot of butter and/or oil in it, are really hot when you place the fish in it. How long each side takes depends on how thick the piece of fish is but it usually is quite short. 2 minutes each side can very well be sufficient.

For meat certainly goes if the pan's T is too low, the meat releases it's moist in the pan and one ends up with a tad too dry dish. Which is an avoidable shame.

I really cant cook, so every time i try to make fish it falls apart turns into little fishy bite sized peices. I do like it though
