I made it there!!

I once got there just in time, going really slow in the end.... to then find out the service station was out of order for a couple of hours.... And, I could not drive a metre further any more. 
Funniest thing was that right behind me a couple came in, in exactly the same situation.

We left our vehicles there and came back later in the afternoon to fill them up and drive off again. 

Thank goodness it was only 100 metres from my home.

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a nag.  But I also use the ambiguous talk.  I say something that you can make what you will out of it, but it will not mean what I meant it to say so I will deny saying what you interpreted my words to mean.  e.g.  "I said I'd clean the xxx, but I didn't mean today!"
