Yup, I think he nearly got done for fraud. If it worked glasses would be rather redundant.

True, but I thought this was more about training for tired eyes, strabismus, and the like.

I got a thing tonight where I started feeling tired, then my forehead got hot, then I felt even more tired and couldn't think straight, and my face, neck and eyes got hot, and I lay in bed for an hour with a cold compress, and felt better a couple of hours later.  I get that kind of thing quite frequently, and I've never known what causes it or what it is, but I told mum about it tonight, and she thought it could be a migraine.  I told her that I don't get a headache or any visual disturbance with it, but she said that sometimes she gets a migraine without a headache or visual disturbance.  Migraines run in the family; my mum, uncle, grandmother and one sister all suffer from migraines.  I get them (whatever they are) most often at the end of a stressful day, but they can happen anytime.  Anyone get anything similar?

...do I need ibuprophin, albuterol, sleep, or something NOT to do with physiological needs?

And the correct answer is:

E) None of the above.

Hmm..  No, can't say that I do.  Although sometimes, my forehead will tingle and itch.

I think I had a migrane once.  I got real sensitive to light, auditory input, and had the worst headache I've ever had.

A blowjob cured me.

Yes, but this vision therapy is completely different from the Bates method.

Vision therapy is now an accepted method of training the eyes to work together in cases of strabismus and other similar issues.

I have to look into this. I haven't heard of anyone trying it around here.

There are lots of eye doctors doing it here, I think.  A friend was getting vision therapy for her son from a local eye doctor and they also did the "homework" together at home and it helped him.  I could not see just by looking as a lay person anything wrong with his eyes, but apparently they weren't working together correctly and that was causing problems for him.

My mum sometimes gets similar to what your mum described. She has said it feels as though your head hasn't decided whether to have a proper headache or not.  :P
