Yes, he's a total religious nutcase, but he's so irritating and self-obsessed that no sect would have him, so he just god-bothers on his own and sends any spare tens of thousands of pounds he has to Christian missionary organisations.  Right now he's contemplating selling two of his houses to fund a Christian Asian radio station to spread the good word.
Blimey, he sounds rather loaded. You could not invent a few charities could you and redirect him? That could be a nice little spinner for you...

Ah, jeez... I'm starting to do that thing where I talk like what I've been reading recently... and I've been reading xkcd.

I wanna launch a research project to see if other people do this; if the null (H0=other people do not absorb linguistic styles; and of course H1=other people besides me do absorb linguistic styles) is rejected I'll feel far less weird.

I think I do that to some extent.  Worse is when I'm writing and  (instead of basing a charcter on myself) realize I am becoming more and more like a character I initially intended to be dissimilar from myself.  Crappiest of all is this Typewriter of the Gods thing I seem to be unable NOT to do...
