it used to be pretty sloppy here until recent years (fucking nanny state government). I knew several folk who got thrown an 18th party at the pub they were a 'regular' at lol - most folk turned a blind eye unless it was blatant. I was never refused service until I was drinking in other areas when I actually passed 18, ironically.

In the country no one realy enforces it still, my cousins regularly go out drinking, and they are underage. I do hate being IDed though, the government should stick its nose out.

Agreed.  I will endeavour to be less boring.   Will probably be in vain.

I am thinking that my friend needs to get help.   He is addicted to oxycotin and me and my brother are really worried about him.   We have known the guy for over 12 years, another two friends of his agree its time for an intervention.   OCs (oxycotins) are like synthetic heroin for the most part, so its dangerous coming off of them after abusing them daily like he seems to be doing (he lies to us about it, as we are all coming to realize).   I am one to talk as I smoke weed about 3 times a week myself, but it isn't as immediately harmful as OCs.   My brother's ex's stepfather killed himself over OCs.   I have met 2 people personally in drug rehab that attempted to kill themselves when they couldn't get any more oxys.  His own father who smokes weed daily is more than sick of him, but I am unsure if he knows how deep my friend is in this shit.   I know who the guy is who is selling him the shit, and I frankly would like to kill him.

He was in India for over a week.  My daughter and I picked him up at the airport tonight.  His luggage was on the next flight so we had to hang around the airport for about two more hours to get it.  My daughter wound up falling asleep at the airport with the inflatable neck pillow that Lufthansa gave him.  She loved that little neck pillow.  You never can tell what she will like best.

I worried a bit when he went to Russia.  Not so much that the plane would crash, but that something might happen to him while he was there.

It was probably an unreasonable fear since he is nobody who would really be a target.
