When I have to be extro' for too long, I lose my tactile senses completely. That's what I meant by horrid consequence.
That sounds very unpleasant. I don't know how I would cope with that.
I feel too much in the tactile sense.
I don't think it is something that anyone could cope with. It causes me problems. I am extremely tactile person and Itake many cues from my touch sense. My other senses get mixed up and so I rely on the one that doesn't lie. I just wish it would stay still.
I always feel it first in my hands, feet and ears. I touch my ears a lot, kind of "checking". I also have things that I touch, everyday. I take some pleasure in the feel of certain things, but I am also taking an inventory of how I am "feeling" today.
I also use a punching bag almost every day and I wear wool clothes on my bare skin at times. I have an old pair of wool thermal long johns that will be difficult to replace when I can no longer patch them up. I wear the rough side towards my skin on bad days. It helps a lot.
