no, they're called Liberty bodices, or chest flatteners, and were common in the 20s and 30s, when women were trying to squeeze into Flapper dresses.

and for pete's sake, O-Master, you nitwit - corsets tend to accentuate, not flatten.  and i know you're very aware of that.  ;)   :eyebrows:

ZOMFG! It seems that the harder I try to be friends, the more I fuck up.

I just learned, earlier tonight, that the true identity of someone who I have had contact with for over two years on an audiophile site, happens to also be the author of a series of children's books, which I have read to my kids. He was a little pissed off at me, at first, because I had recommended one of his books to them, for their kids. He thought at first that I was making fun of him and that I had deduced his identity somehow.

I had no idea who the fuck he was before he told me that "my joke was an old one" and he had heard it too many times. I did not know what the fuck he was saying, until he typed it all out slowly for Yours Truly - the Social Retard.

I had to really work to convince him that I had given him the purest compliment possible. I don't really know if he believes me or not.
We were all talking about our kid's for fuck's sake!! Honestly, he sounds mroe like a socially dysfunctional retard than I do! Or is it that I really can't tell the difference?

I agree with Ozy. I fucking hate humanity, sometimes. This net-laced world is too fucking small, anyway.
