My appetite's been horrible lately.  I'm scared to use the scales; I think the weight-loss would be very depressing.

Let's hope that the dex doesn't make it worse. I haven't had it in years, but it never did that to me. Good job hanging in there!

I'v noticed no loss of appetite since I started ritlalin and my daughter eats quite normally for a teen despite her Concerta dose.

Hmm, all these drugs have exotic names to me... I never know what is a drug and what isnt on here. Isnt ritalin some kind of exam cheat drug?

Ritalin is prescribed for ADHD, since it aids in concentration and reduces hyperactivity.  This also makes it useful as a study aid and for improving performance in exams for both ADHD and NT individuals.  The names can be a little confusing; each drug has a generic name (in this case methylphenidate), and one or more brand names (Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Metadate and Methylin).

Dex is probably bad for muscles too.  I read that it raises cortisol, which breaks down muscle.
