Our problem here is mostly slugs, though we've had a boom in the snail population this year for some reason.  Some of the slugs are getting huge; if they get much bigger, they're going to start chasing Waggy around the garden.

Last year when the weather was very hot and dry we were not allowed to use hose pipes to water gardens in the UK. Also lots of water was wasted from leaking pipes.  Although I am complaining about the rain I also almost prefer it to heat.
