Time to go meet my daughter at school and give her the gear she needs for track and field practice.

I don't think I could go through it.

Wouldn't it be worth a little discomfort for a few days to not have to worry about contraception?

Yeah. Maybe. I dunno. The very thought of... -snip-

...makes me shudder. :o

Me too. But, if my wife had ever seriously
been planning on getting spayed, I would
have gone through with it instead.

And if we're lucky, that only happens once. Good for the gene pool.

The nice thing about having it done, is after 6 months when the last possible sperm is gone.  (You do still have to use birth control for at least 6 months)   Sex, anytime, anyplace, no worries. :eyebrows:

But, I hear what your saying, we men tend to be very protective of the equipment down there.   :police:

Still worries. Just less. Sometimes the operation is not
fully effective. Sometimes you can't trust your partner.

You just have to make sure you get a doctor that is thorough and competent.  The Doctor that did mine, proudly said "When I do a vasectomy, they stay done!"  Which is what I wanted to hear.  And during the procedure I could hear what he was doing, no pain of course, he snipped the tubes, cauterized the ends and then turned both ends back away from each other....so they stood no chance of growing back.   It does happen unfortunately, but, not to me! ;D
