Someone should make a forum and invite the oldest generations of grumpy, hardcore Real Programmers there. Then, they would all be encouraged to rant about today's software, software engineering and its current trends, and to be as grumpy as possible in general. From the postings, great archives of their wisdom would be made.

Then, massive flamewars with modern OO-fanatics and other programmers that distinctly clash with the older school of programming could be organized, and hilarity would most certainly ensue.

This seems to be turning into a long night. I guess it's soon time to recaffeinate myself and eat/drink some sugary stuff. And perhaps microwave some fish gratin later in the morning.

Damn, I'm tired. I've shoveled a lot of snow this morning. Only got about six inches of snow, but it drifts up, waist deep, against the garage door. FUCK!
