I am thinking...shit, this photographic work is very tiring, what with all the editing and uploading, and god, my eyes are totally blurry now.

Attacking, I mean upgrading, a newer, better but rather tiny box I bought off ebay on Monday.  :green: The good news is the RAM I've just added works just fine, so I now have 768MB DDR RAM on this PC, yay... no big deal to some, but I've been making do with a wheezy old Celeron 900 box with 256 MB SDRAM for years. In comparison, this is a flying machine.

It sounds like ya dun good! You will enjoy tripling your RAM! I can't imagine if you were trying to run WinXP on a 256MB stick.

It actually came running the then new XP with just 128MB... it was functional, but not especially responsive (read: slow as fuck to multitask). I am already enjoying tripling my RAM... I nearly cheered when Firefox opened from cold in under six seconds :D

This is not rocket surgery, folks. It should be this way.

David Lee Roth back as Van Halen singer

Quote from: Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The rumors were true. Van Halen will reunite with original singer David Lee Roth for a summer tour of North America.
"I am very excited to get back to the core of what made Van Halen," guitarist Eddie Van Halen said in a statement posted Friday on the band's website announcing a 40 city tour. No specific dates have been named.

It will be the first time that Roth performs live with the band since 1984, when he was replaced by Sammy Hagar. A brief reunion with Roth in 1996 resulted in two new songs but no tour.

Original bassist Michael Anthony will not be a part of the reunion. Late last year he was replaced by Eddie Van Halen's 15-year-old son Wolfgang.

On March 12 Van Halen will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony in New York.

I love the oracle from the matrix.  It is a shame that you cant have such a character be a primary character.

Funny how my little dog, a fox terrier, just dominated a much larger neighbor dog with no significant challenge from the bigger dog. It was a peespot spat and the bigger dog's pee was rejected by my little dog. That shit is so fucking cute, but I'm really surprised how well he did in the spat. Evidently his pee is powerful.

I hate that nasty gritty stuff you get in the inside corners of your eyes when you wake. I am still sleepy, but have to catch up on exercise.
