Also, the day was great despite the pimple, lol.  (And I didn't see anyone I'd dated before.)

Why did it make you worry about the people you had dated? and not about the people you'd love to date?

Just curious.
I was going to an event that I knew one of my exes had gone to in previous years and I didn't know if he would go this year (it seems like he didn't).  It woudlnt have been a huge deal if I saw him- we didn't part on especially bad terms and have been in touch since- but it was recent enough and upsetting enough at the time that I'd still want to look good if he saw me, type deal.  (Not super-mature but I'm also pretty honest with myself; I think the general thought isn't an especially rare one- you see someone who's at all an enemy, you want them to think you're well off.)  And, there's exactly one guy I'm actually intereted in at the moment, and I knew he woudln't be there.  Hence why my thught was what it was.

Aaah, I guess that is one of the things that made them decide I did not have the normal responses on matters of love. Couldn't be bothered by things like this, really.

Thanks for the explanation. Kind of helps seeing where I differ.

I wonder why the left Ctrl key is so dark when compared to the other keys.

Do  you rest a dirty finger on it?

No, it's very weird. It's clean, they all are--it's my new work laptop--but the left Ctrl is darker than the rest. Maybe they built the damned thing from spare parts?! :-\

Maybe so!  MY left Ctrl key is black, but so are all my other keys.   :nerd!:

Wow, were there ever any "mysterious" deaths among the old people?

It's insane that people think that the new Cadbury Bliss advert is racist because it says "Move over Niaomi, there's a new diva in town". It's even more insane that it needs to be debated on a chatshow on tv to see if it is racist. So what if chocolate is the same colour as Naomi Campbell, Cadbury are having a go at her being a diva rather than her skin colour. Touch that race card again and I'll slap them silly. :slap:

Thinking I should check how much time I have left to clip the beech-hedge, before it will start to rain.

And, pondering on how write the apply for a job that needs to be sent this evening at the latest.

Ranch dressing is so delicious, how did it take me 45 years to discover it?  :green:
